rear blinker problem

when i turn on the hazards
i get power to both rear
blinkers, but the left bulb
doesnt flash!
im getting voltage to both
sides AND the both bulbs
work fine in the right side...

is this possible?
whats goin on here?!!

Hazard switch is wired wrong?

1. Is the bulb good?

2. Do you get voltage to the pins in the bulb holder?

3. Is the ground to the bulb holder good?

I'd suspect ground issue. The car was just painted so it might be partially grounding. I think I had that problem when I first installed my rear light assemblies. The nuts on the inside hadn't bitten into the paint enough to grab metal and give a good ground.

the bulbs are good
and ive got power
when i test inside the
socket with my meter....
the other socket on that side
works normal for running lights..

also, i dont have any brake lights,
if that might have something to do
with it.....

well, its 85 out now and my new refurbished
free xbox360 just came in (along with my clutch kit),
so i guess i better test it, before i get any
fluids on me  .....zimmmmy

GROUND IS NO GOOD ON THAT SIDE.

good job jack....
i stuffed a ground wire
under the rubber on the light
and it started blinking!
hmmm, wonder if the brakes work too now?

btw...clutch fixed... i think......z

Ground needed for brake lights as well.
