I got the new engine started today but will only run until the float bowls run out of fuel, which I have to fill manually . I may have a bad fuel pump. My question for now is how do you read the oil pressure gauge that is in kg/sq cm. The gauge has 4 numbers on it starting with 0 2 5 7. With the engine running I'm at the 3/4 mark or 5. According to Bill Piggott some cars came with this gauge. My car was originally dispatched to France so that may explain the different type gauge.

1 kg/cm2 is about 14 psi. So 5 kg/cm2 is about 70 psi. Sounds perfectly normal to me.

Thanks Randall I thought the pressure was fine. With the needle at 3/4 I figured it had to be close to 70psi.
