Hi All,

I hope everyone had a real pleasant X`mas.

I`m going to be looking to buy 4 Tires for my `57 TR3. I`m going to get a Radial Wide Whitewall (2"-2-1/2"wide range). What is best size to get & Who offers some decent deals (If anyone)?

Have to say I'm really happy with my Kumho 758 tires (165/80-15). I had my local tire shop order them - think they were around $45 each.

I've heard some guys say they don't like the "look" of wide whites on a small car. But each to his own!

Howdy Tom,

I basically with the look of "WIDE WHITES" perhaps being a bit "TOO" much on a small car (3inch + Wide Whites that is).

But; I have a Light Grey Screen Saver with a Dk. Burgundy Int. that has disc wheels and set of approx. 2" Wide Whites that looks great. This is what I`m going to make my TR look like, Hopefully!

Hey poolboy; Thanx for that link. Its pretty good showing the variations between any size tire.

Hey Gundy, If your reading this; Check it out. I`m sure you`ll find int. since your thinking about changing "Widths" or "Heights" of Tires.

"Wide whites" can look very good on a TR3. Here's a friend's car that looks great, IMO.
 
Nice...

If the radiator leaks: Pacific, if the diff leaks: Atlantic.

Though I'm guessing that nothing is leaking on that TR.
