Last few weeks it's been a challenge to get up the energy to work on the Tunebug. Today I finally got up the gumption and headed back out to the garage for a while. I've now got A-arms/kingpins ready to send out, front shocks ready to go, and disc calipers ready to be rebuilt -- time to spend some more of that hard earned cash. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

If all goes well, by the end of this long weekend I should have all the old drum brake bits off the Tunebug. Just got to keep motivated!

Been wandering where you've been.
Keep at it Drew, I got a brake master to replace (when it gets here) a roll-bar, carpet and headrests before the 15th.
Sounds like that tunebug will be as good at stopping as it will be at moving.
Remember what Doc said about your transplant....

It's been a very busy summer, Barry -- lots of gigs meaning I've got some cash for the Tunebug, but been too tired on the rare night off to do anything. Coming into the slow season again, so I've got some time to get some things done. Would be nice to have the suspension/brakes sorted out before winter. The old motor is still in the car, so I can drive it a bit to sort out brakes.

That's the plan, at least. We'll see how well it really goes...
