Re-plumbing my B roadster

I want to put in all new brake and clutch lines in my 71 roadster. I checked on Moss and boy are they expensive. Does anyone have an easier and cheaper way to re-plumb the hydraulics?
 
Not easier but certainly less expensive: NAPA Bundy pipe, a bender and double flare "kit". Carefully (so as not to bend) rempve the originals and "clone" the bends, flare the ends. Time consuming but effective. And ya get MORE TOOLS! :laugh:
 
I'm in the process of re-plumbing again (to accommodate some other design changes). I find bending tubing to be very satisfying. It's time consuming, but not technically challenging. My advice: select highest quality tools. (Look for Made-in-USA labels!)

I use a Rigid bender and Snap-On double flare tools. Cheap flaring tools can turn the job into a frustrating experience.
 
I agree about the flaring tool 100%. The cheap one I have used for many years was thrown in the trash during my last brake flaring adventure. I have not, as yet, replaced it, but when I do, I will buy the best I can afford. My bender I got from Eastwood, and it works pretty well.

It's always a good thing when you can buy new tools. :smile:
