Re-chroming

One of the nagging issues with my GT is tough bumpers. The front one does have a small dent but the rear is just badly weather checked. What would be an aproximate cost to re-chrome bumpers? Would it be less expensive to just replace?
Thanks guys.

Re-chroming is going to be pricier than buying new ones, but I haven't heard good things about the replacement bumpers.

But I don't have personal experience with the new ones. That's just something I remember hearing.

Here's a good source for chroming, if you decide to go that way: Paul's Chroming

Thanks Kim. After viewing that web site, I'm sure you're right. It looks like a complex process and likely high on the EPA list! I guess I'll keep looking around for replacements.
