TR2/3/3A Re-Assembling Rear Axle Outer Bearing and Hub

Having read about the success folks are having separating the rear axles from the outer hub assemblies with the recently developed tooling using the external threads on the hub, I was wondering how difficult is it to put all that back together? I have my axles out and now would be the time to do it I suppose.
Regards,
Steve Baker

Back together is a snap. Just lightly oil the inside of the hub and outside of the axle taper. Thoroughly wipe all the oil back off so the parts are completely clean and free of burrs...and then install the hub. Torque the nut to spec initially, and again torque after a short ride around the block. I found that the taper seats further after a short drive. It is a lot of torque on that bolt, so easiest to do with the car back on the ground and the handbrake applied with gearbox in 1st.
