I watched a young boy on the sidewalk in Progresso Mexico do one of these "Rattle can" paintings.
It was nothing short of amazing to watch him work.
He painted a mountain scene with nothing more than rattle cans, a putty knife, a plastic baggie, and a small piece of cardboard.
The scene was a mountain stream surrounded by trees, and complete with elk, deer, an owl sitting in a tree, and eagles in the air flying about.
The whole thing took him less than fifteen minutes and was beautiful.
Tourists were buying his paintings as fast as his hands could produce them.
