Feast your eyes (and wallet) on the rare and beautiful TR-5 for sale on eBay. It's not prefect, but looks very nice with a few minor, non-original mods. LHD, too, originally a German import.

Owned by the VTR, interesting. A most rare and beautiful car, the most desirable TR IMHO.

The price could easily exceed $40K. Even in England, concours examples may exceed 30K pounds.

Drool . . . :cryin:

Whoa, THAT one caught my eye. It's owned by VTR's vehicle consultant for the TR5 model, NOT by VTR itself! (I've been off the National Board for awhile now, but I was pretty sure we as a club had not gotten into the business of acquiring cars! )

If I had the money (and the garage space) I'd love get a PI TR5. Is this the same car that's poped up on eBay in the past?

This car was up for sale a while back but did not get his price. Looks like he is trying again.

Yep... Same location... Annapolis MD.

I'm glad he removed that last paragraph in all caps from the last time.

I agree, if I am recalling the prior listing correctly he got more than a little testy and even insulting in responding to some of the inquiries he received.

This is possibly a case where the car speaks for itself... (hear it? it's whispering 'buy me').

A nice addition to "Jay's Garage" perhaps?? Jay already has a MK I GT6, this certainly is a must for a collector like Jay, no?

If I recall someone here got a little testy too.
