It'll be a while, Tom, we have a tree problem in the backyard from a storm 4 days ago. 55 to 60-foot high twin tree, half of it snapped off and is leaning on the other side, a dangerous situation. Tree surgeon coming today to assess the situation. I've taken care of other trees over the years, but not this one! Leave it to the pros! (y)
 
Found out recently that using Sikaflex 11fc the part can be removed if needed by working Orange citrus cleaner down between the fender and guard, still a tedious operation! Aside from accidental fender damage, there's no need ever to take them back off, the next caretaker can have that problem. (Hopefully)! Still a ways to go yet. :thumbsup2:

Oh yeah, The tree surgeon did take the trees down, and zero damage to anything! They brought in a crane to lift the sections out of the yard. (y)

Well, it took all this time to find Sikaflex-FC 11 Black! Found it in Phoenix Arizona. I wanted black just in case a bit of material peeks out from the stone guards and on black fenders, it won't be noticeable. (y)
Sikaflex-FC11 can be removed with care and Orange cleaner after a gap is opened up at the edge of whatever it's holding. Been told not to use 221 as it gets too hard and near impossible to remove without grinding. Waiting for delivery.
