I Purchased this bendpak Ranger quickjack BL3500 about a month ago for $825.00 new.

Bendpak shipped me an old open box unit, that had clearly been used & used hard.

The hand controller was cracked, the hoses already had Teflon tape wrapped & the reservoir was open and appeared contaminated.

after a few phone calls & emails they sent me a replacement power pack & new hoses.
also gave me a further discount of -$125.
Took two more weeks for the replacement parts to arrive.

while I like the idea of the quickjack:
3500 lbs lift
20" height
hydrualic
portable & fairly easy to store.

it is less than ideal for working under a frame car, especially a TR3 that is pretty narrow.
each scissor Jack is approx. 61" x 10.5".
but since the car frame is inset about 6" & the frames converge toward the front,
you must push the jacks (2ea) completely under the car, limiting creeper room up the middle considerably.
Also no access to the middle from the sides of the car.

not to bad, for access in the engine bay area or at the rear of the car. But not ideal for working on the transmission or anywhere in the middle.

Quickjack is a great lift for servicing wheels, tires area, as you can have the car up in about 2minutes with the safety braces down & remove all four wheels at once.

but overall it is less than what I need.
so I have it on Craigslist. If it sells, I will purchase a made in Tulsa, OK kwiklift, that Bo Bogaty speaks highly of.

Well no takers on Craiglist, so I'm putting it to use.
replacing the rubber brake hoses with stainless steel braided.
the Quickjack is ideal for this type of work.
raises quickly & to the right height, stable, allows acces to all wheel wells at once without repositioning.
