range rover road trip

took my rangie on a road trip very easy trip compared to the jeep wrangler trip i made last month, no problems...eugene oregon to okc via ontario oregon-boise-slc-laramie-denver-etc...averaged 12-15 mpg. it doesn't feel like you're going fast, but all of the sudden i'm doing 85mph without trying. got some admiring looks from a disco owner at a rest stop in idaho. my rangie isn't a blacktop queen, so she looks like she should. picked up a contact on 2 meter over 200 miles away -- an aircraft at 33,000 above yakima wa while i was in redmond oregon.

That's cool! I drove my '88 Range Rover everywhere. I loved that truck.
