Is there polarity on bugeye fuel guage?
Have an extra 2" factory hole in dash above and to the right of ignition switch. Don't ever see it in bugeye land. Is it for a different car?I have an matching ammeter guage. Can that be hooked up?
 
It's interesting. The hole is very well placed and tooled. Not typical of what you would expect from a do it yourselfer. I removed the vinyl covering and went to paint or I might not have known it was there. It certainly looks factory. A boo boo perhaps?
