But I miss the High School days of the big front bench seat and the tube radio playing Top 40 tunes while parking, until the battery started to go, and then needing to get a push start...
I'm a big Buick fan, 455 c.i.d, 510 ft.#'s and all just 25#'s more than a Chevy 350. Supposedly the fastest musclecar ever made. ( beat the Hemi 'Cuda by a tenth or something.)

I like some old Buicks as well. The fantasy Ol' Yeller-esque special I'm building in my mind is powered by a Nailhead. And the first generation Riviera is one of my favorite cars. Like top ten favorite.
I have a thing for the 63 to 65 Rivs. They are still fairly cheap too. Great looking car, tons of torque (gotta love the big nail heads). I also like the 66 67 skylark body style. Even the 4 doors look OK to me. Still, I think a 39 buick sedan would make a decent daily driver. Big enough to intimidate most SUVs, and you won't see your self coming and going. Ok performance (should keep up with traffic). Not so sure about the brakes On my list of cars to try out before I croak.
Actually, Jay's Toronado is, or was, an Oldsmobile. But under the body instead of front-wheel-drive is a Corvette chassis with rear-wheel-drive and a giant GM crate motor.
