While at Home Depot today I came across a set of Rhino Ramps. They are made of plastic and were forty bucks, so I picked them up. They work really well. I drove the BJ8 right up. They are light weight, and even nest together when not in use. Very nice. Jacking a big Healey is a major pain, so a set of ramps that are easy to use are great.

I've had a set of Rhino Ramps for a number of years and I love them. Easy to use and light weight. I was glad to get rid of my metal ramps.

Do the Rhino ramps give enough clearance to do engine and tranny fluid changes under a big Healey? Getting under there with a jack is a PITA. Come to think of it, I have a Chrysler 300C SRT8 that is a bigger PITA than a Healey to do an oil change on. Could be the answer to my prayers (well the real answer would be a four post lift but Ms. HealeyRick has been unbudgeable so far).
 
Rick, for sure there is enough room to get to the oil pan drain. Less so for the transmission. But, with the car up on the ramps, jacking the front higher is a breeze! But still, it is a royal pain to slither under any car. Mrs. CLEAH already knows and approves of my getting a MaxJax, she just wants the checkbook to cool off a bit now that the restoration is complete!
 
Bought the plastic ramps with extenders for my 03 MINI S. Cleared the splitter and went up fine. Got done and back off and one of the ramps had cracked. Did not even try to replace, MINI only weighs 2200 lbs.
