I am about ready to order a pair of 67" two piece "Race Ramps" and a pair of wheel cribs for the rear. Need to do some under chassis work this winter. Anyone out there using these yet?

I use an inexpensive, about $40.00, pair of Rhino Ramps.
No problem driving up or down, front or rear.
Note they only raise the car 6", so I use them for quick things. Or raising the back then using a jack and jack stands to raise the front higher, and vice versa if I only need a quick fix.

RhinoRamps® 8000
For vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating up to 8,000 pounds.
Weight tolerance: 2,000 pounds per ramp or 4,000 pounds per pair.
Length: 35 inches
Width: 10.5 inches (tires should be 1 inch less than the width of the ramp)
Height: 8.5 inches total (lift height is 6.5 inches)
Incline: 17 Degrees

Race Ramps seem to be of much better quality, and the price of course reflects that. About $300.00 They do raise the car higher, 10".

I've tried many ramps over the years but never been able to get a good pair. Granted most of them have all been metal ones. Either they're too short, meaning they don't lift the car high enough, or their way too unstable for me to crawl underneath. I'd much rather take the time to jack the car up one end at a time and place a good set of jacks under the frame rails. BTW I always place a 2" wood block under the front shocks to relieve pressure on the shock.

I use to have a pair of ramps that raised the car real high then you detached the riser and had only the blocks under the tires. With out the riser, you can get under the car easily from the sides. They were great. When I sold my XK140 I felt I didn't need them and sold then at our garage sale. Wrong! I cannot find them again. Now I use a set from Kragen that are two pieces but the extra piece is designed to decease the slop angle to help with the rear exhaust. The are OK but don't give the height my old ones did. If you ever see detachable ramps that are blue and 12 inches high buy them! Best ever!

Me. I use axle stands, was aiming for 3 feet lift at one stage but settled for around 20 inches as I needed to get the wings off as well as work on the cills and floor pan
