It seems like I remember Hap saying the old MGB air filter adapters make great ram pipes for 1.5" carbs.

I was kicking around the idear of putting one of these on my ZS150 carb. I can then mount a cone style filter behind the grill in front of the car, and connect the twu with a pipe and an elbow.

Do you guys have any thoughts about this set up? Has anybody tried anything like this?
