Hello all, long time no see. Mostly been driving for the past few months. Haven't gotten the guts up to start the body work and paint process as that will take my little car away for a few months. Anyway, I decided to put an old Alpine deck that I've had laying around for years into the Midget and all went well. I followed Tullamore's example with the 3.5" speakers and they actually sound pretty good. So here is the question...there always is one...When I turn my blinker on, the radio cuts out on the first blink. I suspected the blinkers were pulling the voltage down and causing the remote "on" feature to blink out for a second but in reality, they don't seem to affect it. There is a momentary drop in voltage from 13.8 to about 13.2 when the flasher first fires but that shouldn't be enough to cause that? To really toss some variables in the works, it doesn't happen unless the engine is running. With the key on engine off, voltage falls from 11.3 to around 10.9 but the radio doesn't cut out...lol.
I know this is a long shot but does anyone have any ideas?
Either way, I'm enjoying the talk radio on the way to work now.
Thanks in advance,
JC
