Can anyone out there recommed a radio with CD changer and ipod hook up that will comfortably fit in the tr6 without hacking up the dash support to much? thanks, John

I just installed this in my 76, it has a rear aux imput for a mp3 or you can use a cd player, I don't think you will find a integrated cd player in a shaft style radio.

It came with an aux cord that reached nicely into the glovebox where I keep my mp3.

I removed the fancy stereo/cd from my TR6. Couldn't hear it over the exhaust. Plus, the exhaust makes better music. My son inherited the expensive system for his pickup.

John, do you read BCF at your office? You should be working! :eeek:

Looking for new tunes for the *8. The six I don't think tunes will work. I'll use the 8 for traveling and plans for Miata seats with speakers.

The following is an excerpt from Retro Sound (the manufacturer)regarding the protruding faceplate portion of their system:

<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Thanks for the email, the dimensions of the faceplate are : 90mm W x 40mm H We do have a universal faceplate that you can cut down to size to fit anything, and also have some chrome adapters that fit around the faceplate that will fill up spaces in the dash:
