Radio panel removal help needed

Trying to remove radio panel from 78 MGB. I see the fan and thermostat knobs have a spring loaded pin in them When I press the pin in and pull the knob it doesn't come off. Am I not pulling hard enough or is there something else?

no thats all i found on mine, sometimes they stick pretty bad, just wiggle and pull a little harder after you push the pins in.
