TR2/3/3A radiator pipe in stainless steel

I cannot seem to find the radiator pipe in stainless steel. I asked Moss and they did not know, but I am sure I bought one from them a few years ago. Has anyone figured out a source for the ss pipe?

Maybe that's it but I took the query to mean the pipe connecting the pair of radiators hoses, 130039 on that page.

I supposed stainless is the ultimate, but my originals are about 50 years old and still fine.

Just need to be sure it doesn't contact something (the steering link?) which will abrade it.

I have seen them rot out, but IMO always caused by not keeping the coolant up to date (or running straight water). Some people seem to think that coolant doesn't need to be changed if you don't drive the car, but in fact the anti-corrosion additives wear out whether the engine is running or not. My 56 was an extreme example, it was apparently "put away wet" and then left that way for 30-some years. I forgot to take a photo of the rotten pipe, but this gives you some idea

PS, it is now wearing the original pipe from my wrecked 59 TR3A. Not perfect, it does show some signs of corrosion, but still very usable after some 55 years.

Ahh, you are right. TRF used to do that pipe in stainless (I have one), but maybe not anymore.
