I've watched my cooling system since my winter project and one issue is that after my winter installation I notice a very small leakage out my rad. cap. Since I didn't use a new cap I thought no problem, I need a new cap and replaced it. I was checking things last night and there is that little bit of coolant at the cap again. It really isn't very much, just a very little bit. Is it a problem, and is there a solution. I still have my original radiator.
 
Maybe check the overflow tube/hole for blockages, using a straightened paperclip or stiff wire. Other than that, wipe the filler neck clean and look for dents or debris that might lead to the leakage.
 
Might also wish to check the flange just inside the top of the tank where the cap seats.
 
I have put a piece of fine sandpaper and a flat board on top of it on the mouth of the radiator and smoothed out the top. This allows the cap gasket to seal.
