Racing a Sprite Across Mexico

So I will be taking my J. Gedden's Sprite Across Mexico in a 1,000 mile road race next year! I am working on some livery designs for the car. I am also looking for a hardtop for a MKII Sprite prefer it in California.

Very cool! You'll have to keep us updated as you get ready for the race -- Carrera Panamericana?. Any pics of the car as it sits now?

I like the blue and orange, but then I was always fond of the Gulf livery.

+1 on the Blue and Orange...although the Yellow & Blue looks pretty striking, too.

Sounds like quite adventure. Do you have any safety concerns (not related to racing, that is)?

I'm not too big a fan of the Gulf livery where it doesn't really have any connection to the cars. Maybe you could do a variation of the Shelby livery when he drove the 100S in the Carrera Panamericana:

Of course, we'd hope for a better outcome:

The only reason why we would do Gulf is because my company is a Gulf Oil licensee and we produce Gulf apparel and products.

Meeting with Sponsors at SEMA... have to see what they say about the colors
