Yeah, we were talking about this a while back.
He actually did a "new" article in the most recent R&T. I just read it and it seems he will continue to do occasional articles. The rest of the latest edition is really poor in my view.
I much prefer the Hemmings Sports and Exotic, Automobile plus the English publications (Motorsport, Octane, etc).
To be honest, once the Bonds were out of R&T and Hachette-Filipacchi took over, the magazine really went downhill. And H-F did the same thing to Car and Driver.
I got to meet Peter and Barb at Watkins Glen a few years ago. Had dinner with them. very nice folks.

I agree - I only subscribed to R&T,& C&D because of Peter Egan,
& that it cost almost nothing.I'll probably let them go after this.
I subscribe to Sports & Exotic Car,& Hemmings Classic Car - the only
magazines that I save any more.
I was fortunate to meet a few of the writers at Hemmings,when we were in
Vermont in 2009.Down to earth people who work on their own (older) cars.
I'd also love to meet Peter Egan & have a visit with him - maybe if I actually
make the cross country trip in 2015?Does anyone know I might contact him?

I kept my subscription of R&T for years just because of him. Eventually even that was not enough and found I could get them on line. A while back, even that disappeared.
