LOL Basil - that is one of my favorie lines ever and use it often to watch how people react.
Until I read his obit in the LA Times I did not know that he was married to Diane Arbus, one of my favorite photographers. Apparently she kept using his last name after they divorced and later she ended her own life tragically. Check out her images, they can be quite startling.
 
His character seemed so convincing that I thought he could not be in the same episode as Frank. I believe his wife at the time was also in the show.
