Just SWMBO and Darling daughter and the cats ringing in the New Year. Just finished some tasty mussels and shortly the steak will be going on. So, in this interlude,

Happy New Year!

May 2012 be a year of joy and friendship. May you be surrounded by people you love and may you be one of those people for others. May you wake in the morning happy to greet the day and go to sleep at night grateful for all that God has given you. If you prayer is for health and healing, may that prayer be answered. If for work to support your family or direction or healing, likewise. If you need to pray for none of these things please remember to say thank you.

May your cars run smoothly
Your roads be winding
You adventures worth repeating

and may I thank you all for making my life a little richer!

Happy New Year!

Cheers!

(and Basil, thanks especially for making it happen)

Thanks for your good wishes JP
Same here for us... just me and my wife to ring in the New Year.

Happy New Year to you, your family and all the BCF'ers all over the world!

Yes, quiet night here too.

Lin got home today from her relatives in PA.
For the holidays, they gave her an awful stomach virus.
I just gave her some soup and sent her to bed (she's fine....just a bit worn out).

We often go to our local ~First Night~ (Lin ran it one year), but not tonight.
<span style="font-style: italic">I was sort of looking forward to seeing The Dirdy Birdies Jug Band.....ah well</span>

And yes, JP, I am thankful for what I have.
I am especially thankful my parents left Canada....it's too d@mn cold up there! (<span style="font-style: italic">kidding--kidding</span>) :jester:

I will probably spend an relaxing evening watching Cathy Griffin torture Anderson Cooper.

Happy New Year and best wishes to all for a great 2012!

Happy New Year to all, may 2012 be a good one.

As a musician, New Year's eve is a working night (and often the best paying night of the year). So I'll be out playing at a bar up at one of the resorts with a couple good friends. Jenny will probably be asleep by 10 pm. Were I home, I'd be doing much the same.

Gee, I hope it goes better than in 2009

Personally you could not pay me to watch that foul-mouthed "comedian". But that's just me, I'm weird that way.

Happy New Year to all! BCF is now heading into our 12th year! Hard to imagine! Any wonder I still don't have my 67 EType done? Maybe this is the year!

It's why I retired from the AF in New Mexico and not at my first duty location, Great Falls, Montana!

What John Peter said, goes for us, too. All is quiet on my little patch and I hope it remains that way. :thankyousign:

We're bunker'd up, cats an' me are headed under th' bed. Ordinance reports started about an hour ago, some sound like they're from a muzzle.

I HATE this. Garden hoses front and rear to the ready. They've been "useful" TWICE in the twenty-odd years we've been in this house. The bottle rocket missing 'smits head by inches not withstanding. THAT issue was dealt with rather decisively.

I am at home too, Kathy Griffin will be torturing nerdy Anderson any minute now, I am looking forward to it.

A Happy and Safe New Year to all! :driving:

HAppy New Year to all.

And blessed may the curves be on your road trip.

Also, Its gonna be 80 degrees her today, t-shirt weather,

YEAH

"I am at home too, Kathy Griffin will be torturing nerdy Anderson any minute now, I am looking forward to it."

Well, when I tuned in, she was down to her scivies, and while not bad looking for her age, her mouth kept getting in the way. Basically offended by the whole thing.

Sorry, but you couldn't pay me enough money to watch that foul-mouthed skank!
