My turn signals had ceased to cancel. The head didn't rotate, so I was fairly certain I hadn't broken the stator tube...
Time to pull it off and look for the problem.
Step 1) loosen the three grub screws on the steering wheel...
(Wait a minute! They ARE loose!)
Tighten the three grub screws on the steering wheel: Problem solved.
