Quick Transmission question

OK I'm second guessing myself.

Other than the 1500, all Spridget transmissions are interchangeable across all years, right?

More or less-
A smoothcase tranny will fit all 948 & 1275 but not an 1100,
A ribcase will fit all years.

I'd second BillM. The interference is the 1098 clutch cover with the smooth case. Some bell housing mods (clearance holes) will let you fit it up. Just remember to match release bearing and release bearing arms to the clutch cover without regard to the transmission being used.
