Quick li'l suckers!

These birds flit around faster than I've been able to follow with the viewfinder, let alone get a focus point on 'em. These two shots happened withing three frames at 8 FPS, never got a good "lock" on them. But it is kinda funny, looks like an old married couple having a bit of a heated "discussion." And a predictable result.

I witnessed something you would have appreciated this morning. While I was drinking my coffee I was watching a squirrel do squirrel things when a magpie took offense to it and began chasing it off. The squirrel ran from one tree to another and out of the neighbors yard into mine before the magpie left it alone.

We have barn swallows that are likewise hyperactive little suckers that don't sit still for more than a second or two.
