Been gone for quite a while and just dropped in to say hi. Haven't touched a computer in over a month and realized I enjoy it that way. Don't spend as much money and stress level is down. Mostly though it keeps me from upsetting anyone. In the past a few folks haven't appreciated a few things I've said...nothing big but it seems as if you have to be so PC it takes the joy out of talking to people. Lying around sick isn't fun, but it gives you time to reflect on life, family, jobs...freinds etc. and sometines you don't like what you see. So along those lines I spend what time I can purging my life of things that I don't like. My shop is shrinking..my cars and tools are getting prepped for the mass exodus so if something drastic occurs no one will have to deal with the mess. I'll try to check in once in a while and see how this are going. Thx.

Jack -

Sorry you're going through a tough time, and I do understand your desire to simplify. I've enjoyed reading of your experiences, and have been amazed at the cars you've been able to pick up over time.

Do check in from time to time, and let us know what's up.

Best,
Mickey

Hey Jack, sorry to hear of your difficulties, but thanks for stopping in. Hope you are able to get to a place where you can reduce the stress!

Jack, thanks for popping us a note, sometimes we have these life changes to deal with, best of luck and cutting out stress is always a good thing.

:iagree: We are a caring bunch here so please pop in from time to time so we know you're okay.

P.S. Are you going to relocate to Okeechobee? My daughter lives there. Just wondering.

we plan on going to Okeechobee in early March. 2-3 week stay. Not old enough to retire...just a short stay, mostly to recharge and help my sister that recently had a stroke. She was the one I gave a 70 Midget to a few years back for Christmas. She says of all the things she misses...its tooling around in her MG.Send me a PM with your daughter's name and we'll give her e shout when we get there. Very nice folks down there.
