I have an original TR2-TR2A and I think it covers TR3 shop manual.
Surprisingly, not all oil stained.
Cover may be faded, it's kind of brick-red now.

As I search for funds for the Jaguar, what is something like this worth?

I can get data off it if it helps.
And, no, I am not trying to sell it on the forums.

I'm guessing you are talking about an original factory manual, not a Haynes nor a Bentley reprint.

Not worth a lot of money IMO, maybe as much as $50 if it's in really prime condition. I've bought them with the covers falling apart (but pages intact) for about $10 (plus S&H) on flea-bay.
OTOH, I <span style="font-style: italic">could</span> be wrong ...

I sold an original factory manual for an MGTC on ebay several years ago for $80, but was unable to sell an original Austin Seven Handbook. I have also sold three first edition copies of Modern Chess Openings from between $200 (high) to $25(low). A lot depends on luck and timing when selling on ebay. The $200 book was involved in a bidding war I guess.
 
That e-bay listing looks like it.
Mine has black lettering vs white on the cover, does not list years, and bottom line is Coventry, England.
 
I suspect that the eBay listing -- with the white lettering on the cover -- is a reprint. Yours, with black lettering and, presumably, hard binding, would be an original. I'm with Randall on pricing; these are not really all that rare, but condition is a factor. (For that matter, so is content inasmuch as the early edition covering only TR2 is going to be lacking in some areas for those owning later TR3A models.)
 
Is there even a version that covers the later TR3A models ? Mine seem to cover pretty well through the end of TR3, including Girling brakes; but make no mention of things like the TR3A front grill, split steering column, push-on fuel pipes on the carbs, later front brake calipers, etc.
 
FWIW - I bought my factory manual (red cover, TR2 with TR3 supplement) for around $35 on ebay last year. Mine looks to be in much better condition than the ebay one Randall linked.
