Question on fuses

Hey everyone, On my 69 Sprite, two things aren't working wipers and heater, I assume these are on the same fuse and it has just blown. For the life of me I can't find where this fuse is though. When looking though the car I've only found two fuses located in the engine bay. these were behind the heater unit to the left of the battery. Where are other fuses for lights etc? Also what is the rating of these two fuses next to the battery, P/O solderd a wire across the old fuses to prevent it from blowing and I've replaced these w/US 10amp for now but want to make it correct. Thanks, the repair manual is in the mail, but I'm just impatient, I have to play with my new toys as soon as possible if you know what I mean.

This should be a wiring diagram for your car '69 wiring diagram and diagram key. There are a lot of different versions of these wiring diagrams around so see if it looks right first and then dig in. Good luck.

I thought maybe he needed diagram 6.
What is you VIN# again?

Sorry about not crediting your site Chris.

You're right Trevor, I changed the link. We were both posting at the same time I think.

I paper manual keeps the grease off of your keyboard!

Thats very true. I have the benefit of being able to print it all for free though, so I guess my manual will stay as clean as my keyboard now.

As I remember, turn signals, heater, windsheld wipers ,and dash lights all on the same fuse.
