Our little engines havc four head studs and nuts along the outside, passanger side.

I have new ones, bright and shiney. The orginals are getting a bit rusty.

Do you supose I can take em off and replace one at a time without causing problems other than needing to maybe readjust the rockers, not a big deal.

Oh, I got em from eBay for 6 bucks in the Moss bag even.

Put them on a shelf and save them for the next time the head is off. Take a cooton swab, dip it in O-phos or Jasco Prime-and-prep and dab the exposed head studs. Tiny problem solved and HUGE potential problem averted. The potential risk of a gapped head gasket versus a microgram of redness on a perfectly good head stud..........??
