I;m thinking about offering a master cylinder conversion for the Bugeyes. I figure I can offer a new duel piston unit simaler to the stock unit but with modern guts and split the thing so you can update to disc brakes on the 3/4" and leave the clutch on 7/8". It will require a core pedal box as an exchange. The price is looking like $250.00 plus shipping. This won't appeal to the concours guys as it will not look stock. But If your not interested in stock but want good brakes you can save some dough.

Do you think I'll sell enough to pay a vendor fee here? It's not really a business...
 
Shealey - In today's world I would worry about any liability if there is a failure of the system which leads to an accident. While you may have a great idea you should probably check with an attorney about product liability. You need to protect yourself if you are going to offer a modification to the braking system.
 
I don't offer the mods I built to put disc brakes on the rear of an MGB just because of liability - per lawyer's advice...& if you notice all the company's who do sell brake mods, they state "not for road use" to protect themselves.
 
I'm not making the master cylinder. Just modifying the mount so the new unit will fit and line up with the pedals.
