TR2/3/3A Question about SU H6 jets?

Happy 4th !!
hope the grill is hot & the beer is cold!

i purchased a Joe Curto H6 rebuild kit from TRF.

the port on new jets are in a different location from the ones I'm replacing.
The hole is about 10-20 degrees off center , from the orientation of the connector yoke on the bottom of the jet.

the old ones hole is inline with the yoke hole. (See pics)

next question:
if the new Curto jet is correct, what is the correct orientation for it ( though, of course I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right anyway)

thank you you for reading & your input is appreciated.

Should make no difference at all, IMO. That part of the jet is completely surrounded by fuel, so the opening can be anywhere.

+1. The fuel doesn't care what angle it enters the jet. The only thing critical would be the "vertical" location of the port, it has to be between the upper&lower jet seals.

Agreed, the hole angle orientation relative to the clevis joint on the jet doesn't matter, it's the location of the hole along the length of the jet body that is critical.

With the picture you have posted here, I can definitely see why in the Tom Bryant blog that you have linked in another thread why he said those holes need to be chamfered, so make sure that you properly chamfer them.

Tybalt,
you are right, the jet holes are sharp edged and even have some burrs on them.
