Question about "A" rear, please

I have A friend looking to buy an MGA. He has a question I could not answer. Do you have to change the rear axle assembly to convert from steel wheels to wire wheels on a MGA like the MGB?

Re: Question about "A" rear, please

Generally speaking, yes you do. However, I happen to know that Moss sells special hub adaptors you can use with the stock axle assembly.

& if you change the rear end, you also have to change the park brake cable.
