was just installing my brake lines. The line that goes from back to fron under the car has two clips to attach it to the body. The first one - at the back - attaches next to the driveshaft opening with a screw.

where does the other (front?) one attach?

thanks
JP

Good question, JP....I start that on my '63 tomorrow!

Supose to be attached with wht are called hairpins and the line tucks under one side of the lip peice that runns down the middle of the car.

hairpins are in - this is a clip - #11

Not a clue, I bet someone added it.

I agree with Jack. My 74 only has the hairpin clips that are in the channel on the right hand side of the transmission tunnel.

Hairpins- I thought that's what holds the front driver-side brake line to the body.

My rear brake line has those funnt clips that attach to the lip piece & then into which you snap the brake line.

The brake lines on my 76 run in a rail that travels the full lenght of the pan. Fuel line up one side of the tranny and brake line down the other. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture last night. I will try to get one tonight.

ISTR that clip in the engine bay someplace on the firewall. But it's been a while since I've had a Spridget that far apart.

Tony, those funny clips you speak of, there should be two on on the bottom of the fire wall where the fuel line crosses from the pass side and one half way to the fuel pump. Clips to bottom edge of the frame.

Yep, brake line in them.
