This is Judy, Agatha's caregiver. Agatha, my 100-m, is experiencing choke problems. I have a new choke cable but the question I have is: How does this get connected to the cold box. What I am trying to say is there a special connection at the box? Drats, I'm not a mechanic of mechanical terms but in my humble way I know what I am talking about. If you can give me any insight I would sure appreciate it.

Thanks

The outer choke cable is anchored to an inverted V bracket that fits between a front & a rear carb to air box mounting bolt. This is the same bracket, V wire, & clamps that is used on all BN1, BN2's. For the H6 carbs, the slots in the ends of this bracket must be elongated & maybe trimmed a bit. No connection to the air box. See items #65, 66, 67, 68, & 69 here:

PS - The air box is much easier to fit if the box to carb mounting bolts are replaced with studs that are Loctited into the threaded holes on the air box. Then it's a simple matter to push the studs through the carb flanges & attach nuts on the carb flange ends.

Thanks Dave. Send me your bill...
