I was wondering if anyone is using the Firestone (made in China) FR-15 Tubes, Item #551-791 with the TR-13 Valve Stems??? They seem to be heavy duty at 1.7lbs. Too bad they don't come with the wider based TR-15 Valve Stems. Thanks.

You want to use a Firestone KR14/15 tube and a valve stem grommet . That is what I use in all Healeys and they are great. Wheelguy R.Allen Hendrix

Allen,

Thank you very much. My Tr-3 wheels are the original 15 inch 48 spoke wheels. and I intend to put 165/80R-15 Vredestein tires on them. I did a search on the Firestone KR 14/15 Tubes and it appears they are intended for use with the following radial tire sizes:

205/75R14
215/75R14
185R15
195/75R15
205/70VR15
205/75R15
215/75R15

It seems to me that the KR 14/15 Tubes would be too big. However, I am no expert on wheels, tires, or tubes. Any additional assistance woulf be appreciated. Thank you.
