A friend of mine just bought a MGB and I have been helping her with the adjustments. I expected to see a PVC valve in the line from the valve cover to the carburators , but none there. Can you tell me what to have her buy?

Check out the Moss Motors catalog and you can see what the system originally looked like. Most likely the car has been de-smogged and the air pump and other stuff have been removed. The carbs should vent to the front breather w/o a PCV.
Hope that helps. Lots of options if carbs/emissions and other stuff has been changed.

This is the 72 engine in the wifes B. Totally restored to original factory specs, with smog system and all. There was very little change between 72 and 73. Contrary to what most people say, there is hardly any noticeable difference in power with or without the original smog system. PJ
