Has anyone ever used Pliobond General Purpose Adhesive to glue the new top to the head rail? This stuff is in a squeeze tube. Thanks.

Carla and I put the new top on Ellie today. Our first experience at this and it went really well. We followed instructions from Dozuki on BCF...THANK YOU for writing very clear and helpful instructions! We spent a total of 3 hours each plus several breaks in the 91° heat. I'm attaching photos. Hope everyone has a great 4th.

Apparently you've found that Ply-o-bond works, the Weldwood contact adhesive works equally well.

Everything seemed to work out. We like it.

looks great!

Thanks JP. We bought a cheap one so it isn't a perfect fit but is really close. Looks OK to us.
