78 MGB pulls hard right if you let go of the steering wheel. Any suggestions besides take it to a shop? lol

First thing to check is the alignment, at least that's the first thing that comes to mind.

thanks Drew! I guess I got to take it to a shop or google it because I have yet to try that or know what to do.

thansk JP! This one is an MGB but i think i got the idea!

Yes, first check tire pressure.

Then, if pulling is consistent on right, jack up right side and see if you have anything loose on RF wheel. Grab it at 12:00 and 6:00 and shake. Then grab at 9:00 and 3:00 and shake again.
And yes, could be sticky brake too. While wheel if off ground, take note to see if brake is dragging a lot on that side (wheel should turn with modest resistance).

If looseness is found, wheel bearing could be bad.
Or you could have lower trunnion wear, worn A-arm bushings or worn king pin (common in these cars due to age).
After any worn parts are replaced, you'd need to be re-aligned (but don't waste money re-aligning a car with worn front-end parts)

Occasionally, a faulty rear leaf spring (including spring bushings or shackle) will cause pulling to one side.

you guys are all aces in my book! thank you!!!! I hope one day to be able ot buy all of you a beer and shake your hand!

Look to replacing the flex lines!!! They deteriorate and can "valve". Sounds as if the pucks in the left caliper are hung open (frozen in place) or the hose on the right is failing.

Check the rubber bushings around the studs which hold the front crossmember to the frame. If they are worn and loose the car may swerve to one side when you hit the brakes.
