Doing a frame off restoration. I'm getting ready to send my chassis and tub to get inner sills replaced, rear apron and some other pieces fixed. Body shop prefers engine/trans removed. Just finished assembling my HF 2 ton hoist and engine leveler. Tub is off, all is ready. Need to decide how to attach engine lever to engine and trans. The leveler is designed to use the head studs. I have heard folks say don't hoist from the head studs because of thread distortion/torque problems. There are two engine lift brackets. I could use those. What have you all done?
