Had a little problem driving through Detroit two weekends ago. Hit a pothole; it was roughly the size of my car.

Didn't think anything of it (other than "bloody heck that was a big pothole") until I got home 10 hours later and saw the state of my fender and the shredded tire under it. Replaced the tire, bent back the fender and added a spring spacer, only to find that it has also split my rad at the bottom and cracked the oil cooler where the lines go in at the top.

It might be called "Motor City", but it sure isn't friendly to LBCs. Now I'm hoping I can get the rad fixed before the TRials.

Since the 8 isn't running either (long story) I'll be taking the truck down otherwise, and that would suck. Who wants to drive the Tail of the Dragon in a Tundra...

BUMMER!

I'm hoping to go - if the 8 holds out...

Just noticed it wasn't listed on the calendar here, so I took care of that. Will post it on the Local Events forum as well.

Now you know why the rapidly shrinking 3 built so many oversized SUVs. They are about the only vehicle which can withstand post apocalypse Detroit.
