TR2/3/3A Protection Strips, TR-3 Frame.

From what I see in the Stanparts listing (plate AF) there are 8 protection strips, I suspect they are anti-squeak devices. Should I use some adhesive to keep them from slip-sliding around during the body installation? When we put the body on for its trip to the body shop we did not use them. Put them on but they slipped off. Did use the tube end mounting pads, and they were on throughout the allignment process.

Anyhow your thoughts would be appreciated, Tinkerman

Yeah, you're going to have to glue the strips in place. I haven't got to that point yet, but will most likely use some black weather strip adhesive. The outrigger pads can be tied in place through a couple of the bolt holes if you have trouble lining those up. The string can be snipped off later. Also, very small nylon tie wraps will work also.

I like the way you referenced plate AF. It was very easy to see what you were talking about.
