A group of friends and I have a tradition that we try and do every summer around the full moons. We head up to a beautiful spot above Park City and play music in the moonlight. We get 2 or 3 of these each summer, weather and schedules permitting. Last week we took advantage of a great clear night and up we went. Since it was a nice night, I put a guitar and mandolin in the B and headed up the pass road. Really nice drive up, so good to have the B on the road again.
Once up at the top we had 5 musicians and a few other friends, and played music and carried on into the night. Even had a few folks that were passing by stop and listen for a while. Perfect mild weather, nearly full moon in the sky, good friends around. One of those nights you remember, proof we're living well.
And the bonus for the night was the drive home in the dark, with the moon shining up above the windscreen.
