Only one flaw. And it hinges on your source of theology. the original saying is; "For the <span style="font-style: italic">love</span> of money is the root of all evil" found in 1 Timothy 6:10
It was The Pink Floyd that sang "Money, so thay say, is the root of all evil today"

Hmm...I wonder how that changes the problem?

Introduction of greed and immorality.

Money in and of itself has NO characteristic, good or evil. It just makes easier the transaction between someone who has more chickens than they need able to do trade with someone wanting to pay for milk with more CHICKENS.

Too bad that makes no sense now.
 
I go with Pink Floyd then....I mean, in order to get ANYTHING done, I first must offer up a blood sacrifice in the form of at least two cuts and three scraped knuckles (not to mention several broken nails) before she will let go of any nuts or bolts! My students don't say anything, but I'm sure they are beginning to wonder if I have a band-aid fetish or something!
 
And the good Doctor gets a cigar! hehehe.. Course I'm not gonna argue with Terry either. I've taken my knuckles off enough times to know exactly what she means.

Funny, I call my TR8 Jezebel because the bellow of the V8 tempts me to do naughty things. My TR6 is known as Josephine, as in Napoleon's Josephine, gained that moniker during the prettying up stage. She has been 'uppity' ever since. :wink:
 
Not to draw too fine a line, but the premise is that money is the ROOT of all evil, not that money per se IS evil! As Doc. says, money just is (or isn't!). :jester:
 
Ah you are right.. Money in itsself is just a tool. It (money) is not inherintly evil any more than a screwdriver or a pencil. nor is money itsself the root of evil. It's only when people "love" money, desire it over anything else, that it becomes a tool for evil.You'll find that at the root of all sorts of evil there are people who's greatest love is money.
Money can be used for just as much good as it can be used for evil.
I'm having fun hashing this over, I hope I'm not ruffling any feathers.
