Spitfire Project Spitfire Returns to the Road

Sorry, the car is still too ugly for pictures but this weekend our project '72 Spitfire made the transition from driveway art to rolling restoration. We bought the car almost exactly 2 years ago as a learning tool for my sons. It has been more project than car. Many, many parts have been replaced. Now it's time to chip away at the remaining bodywork and paint issues.

Thanks to everyone who offered parts, advice, and suggestions during the past two years.
