Here's where I'm at. Woody offered 4.0 heads to me what a nice guy. Then I found out they weren't free.
Just kidding.
So heads are on the shopping list and he said will be available coming up.
Got a call from the ceramic coaters and said
You said Titanium didn't you?
I said yes.
He said.OOPS! He chromed them. Not a big fan of the ceramic Chrome so He will redo them.

When I pick up the exhaust I'm thinking of taking the intake and timing covers and maybe the valve covers too.
Here is the web site of the place I use
Coaters
Got a bit of stuff to take to the powder coaters too.

So that's it in a nutshell.

There better be some red color showing up under that hood somewhere, Don.

That is actually a lot of progress Don.

You'll like the 4.0 heads, I got mine from Woody as well.
Did the 4.0's make a noticeable difference?

The 3.5 and the 4.0 heads have basically the same flow numbers. The 4.0 has a smaller cumbustion chamber yielding higher compression numbers.(helps with quench area as well) The 3.5 came with 8.13CR and the 4.0 came with 9.35. Bolt the 3.5 heads onto a 4.0 motor, and you guessed it, 8.13 CR. Also works the other way. There are other differences such as number of head bolts, but they are interchangeable. The last big motor I had Woody build utilized the 3.5 heads. The guy who bought the motor all ready had a nice set of 3.5 heads with all of the porting done, and the big valves had been installed. We bumped the compression back up to around 11 to 1 with the new piston we had to buy anyway.
