So, went out tonight and saw that there was only about a dime size drop of oil on the drip pan after running her Sunday and letting her sit in the single digit temps for two days. Cool!! Looks as if the leak might be fixed or at least the first signs are good! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Makes me smile!

Tried to sink the carbs. Man!---I think I got them real close.

Put the first bit of second skin on the doors and might even possibly put the vinyl in as well still tonight. That stuff is great! Getting ready to bleed the brakes and clutch tomorrow night and give the cockpit a good vacuum and wash down. Plan on placing most of the second skin in place this weekend. I think I will hold off on some until my panels and carpet comes in. Would hate to see the second skin around the edges of panels /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif .

Looks as if there should be a couple pieces of skin left to send to you. I should know for sure this weekend. You will love the stuff. Doors sound great already and even before the vinyl is in place! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Any words as to when the carpet and panels should be arriving? I am really looking forward to installing the carpet!

Plenty to keep busy in anticipation for the first real drive this spring!!

Think I will wash the inside of the car to get ready for second skin installation this weekend.

Barry - I just got back from spending the night with grandson - expected they'd be here when I got home...hopefully UPS will bring them today early enough so FEDEX can pick up!
 
Now, that's fast! Do you ship UPS? If so, would you be able to send a tracking number when you get one?

Ha, with FPS a tracking number is not needed, instant delivery from Tony.
 
What in the world was I reading. UPS???? Fedex is how the man ships. FPS? WHat in the world? How about to your door from Tony? NOw that would be a treat!
 
For some reason Moss & VB use UPS...I use FEDEX Ground & my shipping costs are less than theirs! & with FEDEX Ground, if I ship it to Jack today, he gets it tomorrow!

Well, FEDEX has come by to pick up but UPS hasn't come by to drop off yet so it won't leave here today....& that's one of the other things I like about FEDEX: between 2 & 3 pm everyday!! UPS: whenever (sometimes 6pm!)

<u>ADDENDUM:</u> RATS!! It left the Goletta, CA warehouse on the 18th because it was out of stock in New Jersey! I was calculating from the NJ warehouse - it'll be here tomorrow (at the same time as another order that left the NJ warehouse after it!)!

<u>2nd UPDATE:</u> Panel kit arrived from NJ warehouse - hopefully, carpet from CA warehouse tomorrow!!
 
Oh boy, just like Christmas. It is all in the anticipation.
